The Tradition

Welcome to The Jungle.  Few collegiate baseball programs can boast the home field advantage the Pirates can.  Inside the beautiful confines of Clark-LeClair Stadium there lies The Jungle.  The nick name given to the area beyond the outfield fence, the Jungle moniker dates back to the late 1970s and is home to ECU’s more “animated” fans.  This treasured piece of Pirate tradition is a source of pride for the East Carolina faithful and one of dread for visiting teams.
